Whitney: And then there's the forward group. We've got a lot of wingers now. Emily from Hoboken asks: 'Where does Arseny Gritsyuk fit after signing his new deal?'
Terry: Gritsyuk was one of the top rookies last season. He's a dynamic winger, and with the new three-year deal, they clearly see him as a key piece. I'd put him in the top six, probably with Hischier or Hughes.
Whitney: So the top six could be something like Bratt, Hischier, and Meier on one line, and then Gritsyuk, Hughes, and maybe Mantha on the other. That's a lot of firepower.
Terry: And it pushes guys like Noesen and Boqvist down the lineup, which is great for depth. The competition in camp is going to be fierce.

Terry: That's a dangerous game. But if I had to pick, I'd say I'd want a true number one goalie. You look at the top teams, and they have that guy. I'd trade a piece for someone like Connor Hellebuyck if he were available.
Whitney: Oh, that's a bold take. But you're right, goaltending is the question mark. I might be tempted to add another elite defenseman, but I think the forward group is solid.
Terry: And that's why the offer sheet for Hayton makes sense. It's about building depth and flexibility.
